Join us on a daylong journey of Victoria’s distilling history and craft whisky revival.
Not for the faint-hearted, this tour will include visits to three Melbourne distilleries and will bring together talented distillers, award-winning whiskies, and the best of Melbourne’s coffee, food & wine in Melbourne’s south side. You will learn about the whisky-making process, taste different styles of grain spirit and discover stories about the past, present and future of whisky in Victoria.
You will be picked up at a central CBD location at 10:00am and returned to the city at 6:30pm. What better place to end the tour than at Whisky and Alement, Australian Whisky Bar of the Year 2017.
Tour will include:
- all transport;
- morning coffee & bagel;
- guided visit and 10+ tastings at three Melbourne distilleries – Melbourne Moonshine Company, Bakery Hill Distillery and Starward Distillery;
- two course lunch with one beer or wine followed by a premium whisky tasting to showcase regional craft from Timboon Railway Shed Distillery in Western Victoria;
- discounted prices for whisky purchases on the day;
- the chance to win a $155 bottle of Timboon’s Port Expression 500ml (drawn from the tour group);
a whisky cocktail making class upon completion of the tour.
