We’re getting out of town just for the day, and looking forward to experiencing the best of Victoria’s scenery, local produce, craft beer and whisky!
Our journey will begin with a morning coffee in Melbourne, followed by a hearty brunch en route to Prickly Moses, where we will enjoy a brewery tour and beer or cider tasting, and learn about the ‘wash’ used in Timboon Railway Shed Distillery’s exceptional whisky.
In Timboon, we will enjoy a two-course lunch (with a beer or wine) at the distillery. We will learn about the whisky making process, tour the secret bond store (where the whisky sleeps!), and sample a range of whisky & liqueurs. We will then head to Timboon Fine Ice Cream for “Sundae School” – an ice-cream making class of whisky caramel ripple.
We will meet at 7:30am for morning coffee at Market Lane Coffee, 109-111 Therry Street, Melbourne, for a prompt 8:00am departure. You will be returned to the city at 5:45pm. What better place to end the tour than at Whisky and Alement, Australian Whisky Bar of the Year 2017.
Tour will include:
- all transport;
- morning coffee;
- brunch en route;
- Prickly Moses brewery tour with beer or cider tastings;
- two course lunch at Timboon Railway Shed Distillery;
- exclusive tour of the secret Timboon Railway Shed Distillery bond store and tastings of whiskies and liqueurs;
- ‘Sundae School’ at Timboon Ice Creamery.
Tour group will be limited to 12.
