After lunch, we’ll visit Starward Distillery to learn about founder David Vitale’s vision to produce an approachable, modern and distinctly Australian whisky. Meet at Lamaros restaurant, 273-279 Cecil St, South Melbourne for a 12:30 start. The tour will end at Starward Distillery, 50 Bertie Street Port Melbourne, at 16:30.

We’re getting out of town just for the day, and looking forward to experiencing the best of Victoria’s scenery, local produce, craft beer and whisky!
Our journey will begin with a morning coffee in Melbourne, followed by a hearty brunch en route to Prickly Moses, where we will enjoy a brewery tour and beer or cider tasting, and learn about the ‘wash’ used in Timboon Railway Shed Distillery’s exceptional whisky.
In Timboon, we will enjoy a two-course lunch (with a beer or wine) at the distillery. We will learn about the whisky making process, tour the secret bond store (where the whisky sleeps!), and sample a range of whisky & liqueurs. We will then head to Timboon Fine Ice Cream for “Sundae School” – an ice-cream making class of whisky caramel ripple.
